The Wiltshire Cycleway runs past our driveway, or you may hire a bicycle from Bradford-on-Avon by the Kennet and Avon canal and cycle to Avoncliffe and stop for a drink at the C.16th Cross Guns pub. Over the aqueduct built by John Rennie dated 1797, go on to the Inn at Freshford where there is folk and Irish music most Sunday evenings.
Horse Riding: Wellow Trekking Centre
takes rides through the village and more - also has off-road karting and quad bikes.
Farleigh Swimming Club is open during the summer months most days where you can swim up the River Frome and sun-bathe in the field. For the less adventurous, Bradford-on-Avon has a public baths with small and Olympic size pools.
